Stewardess Day March 16, 2008 “Christian Women with a Heart for God working in and out of God’s Holy Place.” The Stewardess Board is under the direction of the Pastor and are responsible for the caring of the Altar. The work of the Stewardess is a sacred trust, and calls for women who are consecrated to the task, and who are willing to place love for Christ above personal feelings. It calls for women who are willing to work in the background, without recognition or praise, for the most successful among its members is the one who is most self-effacing and inconspicuous in her work.
