Know that God has a plan for your life …
1. We know this from the Bible
Jeremiah 29 v 11
John 15 v 16
Ephesians 2 v 10
Know that God has a plan for your life …
1. We know this from the Bible
2. We know this from the example of others
3. We know this from our own need for purpose
Know that God’s plans for our lives are not always what we would like them to be…
1. Philip was moved on when he least expected it
2. Philip’s call involved hard work
3. Philip’s call led him to cross cultures
4. Philip’s call on that day was small and unseen
5. Philip’s call involved movement
Know that God’s plans for our lives are crucial, for us and for others
The fire will test what sort of work each one has done.
If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.
If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss,
though he himself will be saved, but only as through a fire.
1 Corinthians 3 v 13-15
How do we find God’s plans for our lives?
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge
him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Proverbs 3 v 5 - 6
