Who has taught a large class? There is no one correct way to teach a large class. Step 1 Post outlines of the lectures elements Current System A. Statutory Law B. Common Law Ancient Law A. Roman Civil Law B. English Common Law Step 2 Count class participation towards final grade. I keep track of class participation and give bump in final grade to those who are outstanding. Step 3 Pop up quizzes Step 4 How to reduce feeling of student anonymity. Arrive early and introduce yourself to a few students at a time. I use a wireless remote and mic so I can teach from different parts of the classroom. Step 5 Manage classroom climate I go over student responsibilities on the first day and my syllabus sets forth the rules in a strict format. I become more casual as we go along.
