Stephen Racik of Florida Has Played a Key Role in the Success of Many Renowned Companies

Stephen Racik, a Florida based professional, has rich experience in enterprise computing service, support, and application infrastructure.

He is a self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills and deep understanding of data communication protocols. He joined CompuScan, Inc.

In 1978 as a Field Service Engineer where he provided on-site services and maintenance of OCR computer equipment. Later in 1982, he was promoted as West Coast Manager, Field Operations and his role was changed to supervising four Field Service Engineers in local office and providing technical support to Field Engineers in Western Region.

In 1989, Stephen Racik of Florida joined Sigma Designs as Director OEM Product Marketing. His role was to manage a group of product lines, primarily OEM that made up 40% of company revenues for four successive years.

He also created a no-name line of VGA adapters with no-name BIOS, documentation and data sheets.

He joined Egghead as The Director of Site Operations Menlo Park. He was responsible for running a 24 by 7 e-commerce site comprised of 100 NT servers on the Intel platform running a variety of applications including BackupExec, DoubleTake, Exchange, IIS, GenTran Server, HP OpenView, Marimba, NetGenesis, NetGravity, NetIQ, Network Ice, NT Server, NT Workstation, Oracle, PCAnywhere, SQL, Terminal Server, Visual SourceSafe, and XIOtech.

At Egghead, Stephen Racik of Florida managed a team of 5 - 6 employees providing 24x7 site coverage while maintaining regular operation duties.

He worked under different situations and communicated with both technical and non-technical personnel to resolve issues quickly.

He was the owner of NU Born Time Capsules (1993-1994) which was a direct marketing company.

He implemented a multi-channel marketing strategy, including direct and distributor sale.

He also set up a data base to handle all facets of the business and managed sales and distribution.
