This year’s Private Healthcare Summit will adopt a new format – a two-day event taking place online on Tuesday 23 June and Tuesday 30 June.

Once you have received your joining instructions, you will be able to virtually attend the Summit by logging in to watch live streams, privately message delegates, speak to sponsors and ask questions. If possible, please read this document prior to the event.

Home Where do I start?

You should have received an email from Jade Cummings, Event Manager at LaingBuisson with your joining instructions. This email will contain a link to the sign up page. Click this link and use the same email address used to purchase your ticket to sign up. Once you have signed up, you should be taken directly to Private Healthcare Summit event page.

Didn’t receive the email? Check your junk folder, or spam filter. The email address used is the same email address used to purchase your ticket.

Once you have successfully signed up, login and you will see the home page as shown below.

This is where you will be able to access all features of the site. Click the ‘Home’ tab if you ever get lost around the site.


Agenda How do I watch the sessions?

Click on the ‘Agenda’ tab to view the agenda. From here you will be able to view each session and see the speaker line-up.

Click ‘View Session’ to watch the live stream of speakers and ask the speakers any questions.

If you click on ‘Add to My Agenda’ you will add the session to your private agenda which you can follow on the day, rather than viewing all of the sessions.

AttendeesHow can I see who else is attending?

Click on the ‘Attendees’ tab to view all the attendees. Here you will be able to privately send a message to each delegate.



In order to ‘View Profile’, you will need to download the Whova app. Once you have downloaded the app, you can click the ‘Attendees’ tab at the bottom and find out more about each person.

The App

We encourage all attendees to download the app to access more networking features.

Once you have downloaded the app and logged in, you will be able to navigate through the app using the toolbar at the bottom.

How do I edit my profile?

Editing your profile is only available on the app. We encourage each delegate to download the app and update their profile with key information. This will allow you to network better and connect with more attendees.

You can edit your profile by clicking on the top left profile icon. This will open your settings bar to ‘Edit My Profile’.

Keep your app downloaded after the event as you can continue to connect with attendees at a later date.

If you wish to speak to an attendee post-event, go to Attendees/Click on the desired attendee/click ‘Exchange Contact Info’ or ‘Message’ them.

The CommunityHow do I use the Community tab?

The ‘Community’ tab is a public discussion board where you can:• Ask the organisers questions• Share news articles with the attendees• See any announcements made by the organisers• Share your thoughts and experiences on the sector• Answer any questions

REMEMBER: the Community tab is public so anyone can see your comments. LaingBuisson will not tolerate any negative behaviour or targeted comments made on this platform.

We encourage all attendees to share their comments and thoughts about the industry on the ‘Community’ tab for an enhanced networking experience.



Exhibitors How do I find out more about the exhibitors?

Click on the ‘Exhibitors’ tab to view all the exhibitors. Here you will be able to find out more about their services and how they can help your organisation.

You can search for Exhibitor contacts in the ‘Attendee’ tab by searching the exhibitor or company name in the search bar.

MessagesThe ‘Messages’ tab is your private Inbox. Here you will find all the chats made with attendees.

Session Q&AThis tab shows you a list of questions that have been asked in each session. To ask a question, go to Agenda/View Session/Ask a question.

PollsThis tab show you a list of polls that have been created by the organisers. Take part by choosing your answer ready for discussion later on in each session.
