Step 1: Go to www.fafsa.gov and click “Login.”

Step 3: Click “ACCEPT” to agree to disclaimer.

Step 5: Create a “Save Key”. It can be any combination of 4-8 characters. Then

click ‘Next’.

Step 2: Enter your FSA ID information and click “Next”.

Step 4: Choose the 2018-2019 tab and then select “Make FAFSA Corrections”.

Step 6: Go to the ‘Financial Information’ tab and select correct return status.

Remember to report 2016 Income Information on your FAFSA. Then ‘Next’.

Step 7: Select the correct tax filing status for your parent(s) and click ‘Next’.

Step 9: Parent must enter their FSA ID. (Username and password). Then click

“PROCEED to IRS SITE”.

Step 11: Check the box to transfer tax information and then click “Transfer

Now”.

Step 8: Answer foreign tax return question. If foreign tax return question is “No”, click “LINK TO IRS”. Then click “Next”.

Step 10: Enter Parent(s) name and address exactly as it appears on their 2016

tax return. Then click “Submit”

Step 12: Be sure to mark “NO that you are not a preparer and both student and parent must “Agree” to the outlined terms. Then click “SUBMIT MY FAFSA NOW”.

*BE SURE TO EXIT AND LOG OUT OF YOUR FAFSA AFTER SUBMITTING SIGNATURES*
