The Only EKG Book You’ll Ever Need, 8th EditionBy Malcom S. Thaler, MD

This popular and practical text presents all the information clinicians need to use the EKG in everyday practice and interpret hypertrophy and enlargement, arrhythmias, conduction blocks, pre-excitation syndromes, and myocardial infarction. It is an ideal reference for medical students in ICM courses, house officers, or anyone directly involved in patient care, whether student, teacher, or practitioner.

Cardiovascular Disorders: Disease & Drug ConsultBy Multiple Authors

Cardiovascular Disorders, is part of the unique new reference series: Disease & Drug Consult. This practical and convenient handbook provides monographs of prevalent cardiovascular diseases plus monographs of the drugs used to treat them. For example, a nurse can read a full description of heart failure, and then turn to the drug monographs for a full discussion of each of the drugs used to treat

that disease. Part 1 of the handbook presents each disease alphabetically, including a description, causes, signs and symptoms, complications, diagnosis, treatment options, drugs used to treat the disease, and the rationale for using each drug. Part 2 presents, in alphabetical order, monographs for each drug mentioned in the disease section.
