Stefan is a German name, spoken with a German accent (it really
doesnt sound German when people besides my family pronounce
it).
My mom and dad (and me) named my sister Nina, and it is very
popular in Europe (It also means baby girl in Spanish).
14. SD on religion
I believe that when you die, you go to heaven and through good
deeds and work earn the right to be a human again. When you become
human again you are placed inside another body (different from the
one before).
15. SD on religion
I think God is a sacred person because he created life as we
know it
16. SD on religion
My mom keeps a cross in our house and I have always thought of
it as protection from anything bad ever happening to our house
17. SD on religion
Ive attended the same church since I was born and always feel
safe and welcome there. I was baptized in my Grandmas church in
Cincinnati
18. SD on religion
19. SD on the individual (me)
I feel that my culture is unique to me because I have adapted
to it and that it fits me. I might have trouble adjusting into
anothers culture if I moved to another country
20. SD on the individual (me)
My personal space is small (even though I got first pick on
what room I wanted)
21. SD on the individual (me)
22. SD on the individual (me)
I have some private property that I dont want to share (hey,
its private!)
The things I like to do are play video games, read, draw
comics, build Lego ships, play with my friends, build stick forts
in my backyard, watch TV, and lots of other things

(soon to be a Boy Scout)
I have lots of toys in my room that are somewhat outdated for
me to play with that is because I think one day they will start to
be collectors items so I can sell them for a lot of money!
27. SD on community
Greetings are the normal wave and Hello! or maybe a How are
you?
Community etiquette is a normal American manner like to wait to
say Grace before eating
28. SD on community
Felix Bachofner is the Mayor of Seaside, CA
There are several schools in my community (ISM, Seaside High,
Monterey Bay Christian, Ord Terrace, and others)
29. SD on community
Laws in Seaside I suspect are like any other American
community.
The attitude toward animals is to treat them with
kindness.
30. SD on tradition
The kind of food I eat is average American food like pasta or
hot dogs but sometimes I have other foods like beef stroganoff and
potstickers.
My family normally eats at the dining room table with plates,
forks, knives, and spoons
31. SD on tradition
My mom sings songs to me and my sister that her mother sang to
her when she was little. Many are Australian.
The holidays my family celebrates are Christmas, Halloween,
Lent, Thanksgiving, Easter, and other American holidays like July 4
th .
32. SD on tradition
During Christmas we celebrate the German tradition of receiving
a gift from the Christ child on Christmas Eve and mix it with
American culture by opening more gifts from Santa on Christmas
morning.
33. SD on tradition
My parents keep paintings made by me and my sister and other
bowls and sculptures from other countries
34. SD on tradition
35. SD on tradition
The music I listen to is rap, pop, hip hop, and whatever is on
the radio station
My family does not have any dances that are culturally based,
but we like to dance in the living room sometimes.
36. SD on transportation
My family travels mostly by car, then walking/hiking, biking,
flying, and on special occasions, boating
37. SD on family currency (and mine)
My family lives on a tight budget. If we want to buy something
we believe we have to work for it first before spending.
38. SD on language
The language my family speaks and writes is English. My dad
speaks German with my Opa when they Skype.
We do use Australian/New Zealand & German phrases at home
i.e. rubbish, essen, and nein

25% New Zealand, and 25% German
40. Conclusion
I acquired my culture from my home, school, and the area I
live
I have also acquired it by soaking up my surroundings when I
was a baby
