The Steel Parts Manufacturing Business unit is Electroalfa group’s specialist in metalworking and surface treatment

The state of the art machines and the complete production lines combined with the experience in design and logistics, support our efforts in providing solutions to various markets: electrical engineering, automotive, food, furniture, civil and residential buildings etc.

The Steel Parts Manufacturing Business Unit operates modern workshops with a surface in excess of 7000 sqm where the production of various steel fabricated parts is followed through an Oracle based Manufacturing Resource Planning software. The customer satisfaction is our main goal and this is ensured by the integrated quality system; Electroalfa is an ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS certified company.

We are working with different kind of steel regular/ galvanized/ aluminized/ stainless and the regular range of steel thickness is between 0.8 and 6 mm. Our CAD engineers are skilled in using Autocad, Solid Works, Tops 300, Lantek and Topunch.

The quality of our solutions is proved by the long lasting partnership built along the years with both Romanian and abroad customers.

Technical features

There are 37 standardized types available for these enclosures. They are made of galvanized steel of thicknesses in the range 1-2 mm based on their size, powder painted with polyester textured paint of color RAL 7035.

For special request we can offer any RAL code.

Description

Body

• fitted with holes for wall or pillar mounting with fixing accessories;

• removable bottom plate, outfitted with polyurethane poured gasket;

• outdoor earthing terminal.

Door

• key lock with triangular insert;• polyurethane poured gasket;• earthing bolt;• door opening angle at 120

degrees. Protection degree

• IP 66 according to IEC 60529.

Advantages

• Protection against water and dust – the roof bending prevents the water, oils and other liquids from penetrating the enclosure.

• The metallic door fitted with PUR gasket warrants a protection degree of IP 66.

• Long lasting – the industrial welding process, the polyester type paint, the PUR gasket; These warrant the resistance against water and dust for many years.

• Personnel safety – by earthing bolts.

• Good outfitting – the large bottom plate provides enough space for the cables; direct mounting or wall mounting.

Easy assembly operations

• This type of steel cabinet is made of 4 depth profiles and 2 front and back frames. It is very robust, due to the frame made of 2,5 mm steel. The round cut outs on the frame profiles have a 25mm step which allows to fix easily mounting accessories by using the same type of screw.

• These cabinets can be easily used for the construction of large electrical switchboards chassis.

• The door is made of painted steel, standard colour RAL 7035;

• The back cover and side covers are made of steel and powder painted in the color RAL 7035, they are gasketed and fixed with screws for easy mounting and dismounting operations;

• The individual plinths are powder painted in the color RAL 7035.

These waste bins are designed for outdoor use inside the people communities. The use of ‘a mix of alive colours’ and their design provide an easy integration with the urban architecture.

Materials, mounting possibilitiesThe waste recipient is made of powder painted galvanised steel, fitted by riveting or welding techniques.

The street bins are design to be mounted on individual supports or on street lighting poles. The individual supports are made of steel profiles or pipes, being usually fitted with a plug system for fixing when buried.

The system for pole fixing includes a set of steel necklet and a rounded tube. The curved shape of the top pipe provides a ‘waste selection functions’ against oversized packages.

As an option, we can fit on the main collector a small pocket for reduced size waste and for cigarettes. The bin body has bottom holes for draining the rain water.

operation The waste collector operator should swing the bin body into the mobile collecting cart.

It is quite easy to assembly the structure, by using mounting accessories (screws, washers).

The steel structure should be fixed in the ground by steel anchors (micropilots) with the minimum length of 2000 mm fitted with windings for underground fixing. This system is very robust because it doesn’t have moving components.

This structure is made of:• steel anchoring systems for

underground fixation of the, made of pie of 76x3.6 mm fitted with steel windings made of 4 mm thick steel; this assembly is galavanised according the prescriptions of SR EN ISO 1461/09, SR EN ISO 2178/98;

• flanges for frame fixing, made of 5 mm galvanised steel;

• main frames made bending galvanised steel (EN10143-2.0-

• EN10142-DX51D-Z275-M-A-C) of 2 mm;

• Panel supporting beams made of galvanised steel (EN10143 -1.5-EN10142-DX51D-Z275-M-A-C) with thickness of 1,5 mm

• wind protections made of galvanised square profiles of 60x60x2mm.

Electrostatic powder painting on an automated line.

Powder painting cycle:• chemical pre-treatment with

Henkel technology (degreasing - washing - phosphating - washing – rinsing with demineralised water);

• powder painting in the automated cabin fitted with electrostatic pulverisation unit of type AS 02 OPTI MATIC, which controls and set in automatically the pulverisation process.

Electrochemical galvanisation

This surface treatment is used both for aesthetics as for increased corrosion proof resistance.

The process is free of cyanides. The galvanisation technology is automatized and the thickness of the layer and quality are computer controlled.

We perform the Zn plating operation on a line which allows the palting of large parts (internal bath dimensions: lentgh 2100 mm, width 400 mm height 1000 mm).

Currently there are two types of treatments provided by Electroalfa:• Zn plating, week acid in frames

and barrels; • finishing of the palting by white-

blu passivation and yellow passivation.

Polyurethane gasketing

Electroalfa pour C type gaksets on steel, painted steel, stainless steel or plastics on a CNC machine made by RAMPF Germany.
