Thestand contains 11.34 I%f/acre of saulogs and an a d d i t f o n d 24 c o r d s / a c r eo f fue lmod; a l l from 1 4 8 trees per acre. The d.11 savlog v a lu e s a r e$ 2 5 0 / f i f , $20U/Ebf , and $100/3f for Grade 1, 2 , and 3 sawlogs,r e spec t ive ly . Fue lwood i s valued a: $20/cord a= t h e l anc ing . Oprion 1, w i t h maximumenvi romnen ta l p ro tec t ion , had a 300-foot maximum yarding d i s t a n c e ,p roduc t ion o f 3 ,497 cub ic f e e t pe r day, and uni t yarding c o s t s( i n c lu d i n g s k y l i n e c o r r i d o r changes and move i n and ou t) of $0.160 p e rcub ic foo t . Op tion 2 , v i t h minimum enviro nmenta l pr ot ec ti on , had a5 0 b f o a t maximum yarding distance, product ion of 3 ,32 2 c u b i c f e e t p e rd ay , an d u n i t ya r di n g c o s t s of $0.169 per cub ic foo t, Option 2 c o s t 'more than Option 1 because yarding dis ta nc e and cyc le time wereincreased .     The he t r e t u r n s t o t h e l a nd ow ne r f r a n t h e p o t e n t i a l h a r v es t o f20.66 acres are S11,500, $18,310, and $16,570 f o r Optio ns 1, 2, and 3,respectively, (Table 3 ) .
