As a licensee, STC is able to

• 半導体サプライヤと並行してソフト開発が可能、他社より３ヶ月から６ヶ月早く開発開始可能

• Receive, build, and analyze early (pre-release) drops of Android as it is being developed so as to understand its impact and requirements on the underlying BSP for the Android Platform

• Gain insight into Android Platform directions

STC has an Android Kitkat PDK Licensee

Google’s intent is that STC be a resource to enhance the reach and speed to product of the Android Ecosystem. As such, STC can:

– Work with and aid other PDK licensees in early product development– With Google’s written permission, we can use the PDK to help specific STC customers

who are building a compliant device, but are not themselves PDK licensees– Provide impact analysis and update suggestions to non-PDK licensees – but can not

deliver the analysis and update report until Google makes it public Android Open Source Platform (AOSP) release

– Prepare ourselves so as to be high value consultants to Android Platform customers at AOSP release
