All rates and charges are increased three and six-tenths (3.6%) percent. To Arrive at suchincreased rate or charge, multiply the rate or charge by 1.036. Fractions of less than 1/2 cent willbe dropped. Fractions of 1/2 cent or more will be increased to the next whole cent. For rates indollars, fractions less than .50 will be dropped and fractions of .50 or more will be rounded to thenext whole dollar.
Where reference is made in this supplement to tariff, Items, Notes, Rules, etc., it is understoodthat such reference is continuous and includes Supplements to or successive issues of suchTariff, Items, Notes, Rules, etc.
Increases do not apply to charges in STB SSTB 100 series, whether referenced directly orreferenced as a governing publication.

Wrangell is near boat yard which can accomdate lifting or launching in or out of water for an additional charge. Customer make arrangements directly with boat yard.
All measurements are determined by measuring the extreme length and width of the unit shipped, including masts secured to the unit and/or to any device used to ensure safe handling, including tongues on trailers.
Boats must be received with the masts and rigging dismounted and securely fastened to deck. Masts or rigging must not project beyond the side or ends of the boat.
SSTB 100, series, Item 572 (Fuel Drainage) will apply to boats received containing more than 1/4 tank of fuel.
Shipper must furnish necessary skids, chocks, crates or other devices necessary to ensure safe handling. When Carrier is requested to provide cradle, Shipper will be charged a rated based on $1.92 per square foot based on overall dimensions of boat, subject to a minimum charge of $482.00. Construction of cradles is at Carrier's discretion. Carrier may decline to build a cradle for any boat.
All portable canvas tops or sides must be removed prior to receipt at Samson Tug & Barge's dock. All tops and sides shipped attached will be at owner's risk.
Shipper owned skids, cradles, chocks, crates or other devices necessary to ensure safe handling may be returned, provided the Samson move is confirmed on the Bill of Lading. Such confirmation must include Northbound freight bill number and consigned party of returned dunnage. Charge for such services will be $463.00 per container/platform or portion thereof.
Household goods, personal effects, and other items, other than factory installed equipment, stowed inside boats will be accepted subject to a released valuation of ten cents ($.10) per pound. Such items in boats will be accepted as SL&C (Shipper Load and Count).
When Carrier is required to lift boat from/to water or trailer in Seattle, an additional charge will be assessed. For lifting a boat not exceeding 28 feet in overall length or 12 feet in overall width, the charges is $557.00. For boats that are over 28 feet in length or 12 feet in width, Carrier will provide service at a rate of $24.00 per lineal foot. Such service must be scheduled with Carrier prior to delivery. Rate applies between Carrier's terminal only. Rate includes return of empty tanks to Carrier'sSeattle terminal.
Loss/Damage, payable by Carrier on shipper furnished bulk gas containers, shall not exceed $1,000.00 per bulk gascontainer and contents. No contents other than factory installed equipment secured for shipment will be allowed inside the unit. In the eventother items secured or not, are loaded inside the unit, Carrier may require all contents to be withdrawn and loaded intocontainers, with charges for the account of the party paying for the freight.
At destination, arrangements for wheels must be made by the Shipper. Shipper must remove units from terminal upondischarge from vessel. Delay or standby time will be chared for at $652.00 per hour or fraction thereof.
All units must be prepaid, except that credit may be extended for a period of seven (7) days provided arrangements forsuch credit have been made in advance, in writing, and such arrangements have been confirmed by the Carrier inwriting.
Carrier reserves the right to purchase damaged unit at a price not to exceed the declared value at the time ofacceptance in lieu of repairing said unit. If not value is declared, Carrier's maximum liability is $5,000.00
Rates are in dollars and cents per square foot, based on overall dimensions of each unit, including all protrusions,extensions and overhangs.
Used units exceeding 250 pounds per lineal foot will be subject to an additional charge of $6.06 per hundred weighton the gross weight of each unit. (Used units are defined as those units which have been lived in or otherwiseoccupied for any purpose.)
SSTB 100, series, Items 346 (Placement Service), 670 (Over Dimension) and 675 (Overweight Shipments) do notapply.
All doors and windows must be covered with plywood. Units received with plastic covered outside walls will not beaccepted unless openings are securely covered first with plywood or similar substantial material. Carrier will not beresponsible for any damage caused by wind, weather, or acts of God.Carrier will not be liable for mechanical, frame or structural deficiencies unless through negligence of the Carrier, notliable for damage to frame or structure caused by overloading inside the units, nor external or internal panel damage oritems connected thereto, as a result of the units bowing or twisting due to insufficient structural integrity.

Carrier will not be liable for mechanical, frame or structural deficiencies, unless caused through it's negligence. Carrieris not liable for damage to frame or structure caused by overloading of contents, loaded inside unit, nor external orinternal panel damge or items connect thereto, as a result of the units bowing or twisting due to the insufficientstructural integrity. Carrier will not be liable for the improper stowage of any contents within the unit and Carrier mayrequire all contents to be withdrawn and loaded into containers with charges for the account of the party paying thefreight.
The carrier reserves the right to purchase unit, if damaged, at a price not to exceed the declared value at the time ofacceptance, in lieu of repairing said unit. If no value is declared, Carrier's maximum liability for unit is $5,000.00.
All windows, doors and external accessories must be protected with plywood or similar substantial material prior toreceipt at Samson Tug and Barge dock. Carrier will not be responsible for damage to unprotected windows, doors andexternal accessories. All external awnings must be removed prior to receipt at Samson Tug and Barge's dock. SSTB100, series, Item 670 (A) (1) (Overlength) does not apply on units up to 8'6"OAW or 53'OAL. Units exceeding40' OAL or 8'6"OAW will take rates in SSTB 100, series Item 670.
Trailers may contain shipments of household goods or personal effects as described in SSTB 100, series Item 515,subject to a released value not exceeding $0.10 per pound, per article inclusive in the above rate.
Shipper must declare the weight of household goods and/or personal effects on the bill of lading. Household goodsand/or personal effects will be considered as shipper load and count, and accepted to all items.
Carrier will not be liable for mechanical, frame or structural deficiencies, unless caused through it's negligence. Carrieris not liable for damage to frame or structure caused by overloading of contents, loaded inside unit, nor external orinternal panel damge or items connect thereto, as a result of the units bowing or twisting due to the insufficientstructural integrity. Carrier will not be liable for the improper stowage of any contents within the unit and Carrier mayrequire all contents to be withdrawn and loaded into containers with charges for the account of the party paying thefreight.
The carrier reserves the right to purchase unit, if damaged, at a price not to exceed the declared value at the time ofacceptance, in lieu of repairing said unit. If no value is declared, Carrier's maximum liability for unit is $5,000.00.
All windows, doors and external accessories must be protected with plywood or similar substantial material prior toreceipt at Samson Tug and Barge dock. Carrier will not be responsible for damage to unprotected windows, doors andexternal accessories. All external awnings must be removed prior to receipt at Samson Tug and Barge's dock. Carrierwill not be responsible for damage to aqwnings which are not removed prior to shipment. Carrier will not beresponsible for any damage caused by wind, weather or acts of God.
