for an energetic worship, group games, and take-home family resources

you’re sure to get wrapped up in!

Fall Activities > Please prayerfully consider how you can be a part of

Children’s activities coming to the Island this fall. For questions about our

Children’s Ministry, please see Kathy Chester.

Women’s Bible Study > Will return next week. See us Tuesday at 10 AM -

study title, A Woman of Wisdom. Admission is a canned food item.

Church Co-Ed League Softball > Tuesday at 7:45 PM - Bates Ave. Field in

Eustis. See the BLUE sheets in the foyer for a complete schedule.

Quarterly Business Meeting > Sunday, September 17th immediately

following worship.

9th Annual Church Golf Scramble > Oct. 7th at 8 AM – Deer Island,

Tavares. Cost: $32 and includes: lunch, range balls (available at 7:15

AM), & prizes. To participate, check your tear-off or see Mark Hawkins.

Church Envelopes > Tithe envelopes will be ordered soon. If you would

like a set for your family, please mark your tear-off and complete the

address field to be sure we have updated information.

Ministry Opportunities > Please pray about serving with a ministry team in

the next church year. Please see the TEAL insert for detailed descriptions.

Deacon Nominations > In the fall of each year we begin the process of

nominating men to serve as deacons in the life of the church. As we

begin this process, please give prayerful consideration of whom you

nominate to serve. As you pray, consider the traits mentioned in the

scripture, 1 Timothy 3:8-13, noted in your BLUE insert as guidance.
