IntroductionThis report presents the results of the Staunton Downtown Development Association’s Customer Perception and Behavior Survey. The survey was conducted between September 22 and October 31, 2016. There were 871 participants and 711 complete responses. The results from each question, including the open-ended responses, are detailed in the following pages.
NOTES:
Negative references to individuals and businesses have been withdrawn with the note that only four comments were eliminated.

To concentrate on the narrow tourist strip from Trinity church to Stonewall Jackson Hotel is arbitrary, capricious and abundant unfair to city taxpayers.
