Having CLC2006 finished for 38 countries by end 2008 is a difficult task!
National deadline in many countries is end 2008. European dataset will not be completed by end 2008!

Conclusions and proposals
Implementation of CLC2006 is going on without technical difficulties
Progress is slower than expected because getting 38 national projects implemented in the same time frame is difficult
Lessons for GMES leadersEEA has started discussions with ‘silent’ countriesIn January 2008 different scenarios to complete
the work by 2008 will be evaluated (to be decided by the Steering Committee)
