STATIVE:
• = To have an opinion
– I think (have an opinion) this flower is unusual
DYNAMIC: (Continuous)
• Think of/about = To be considering something
– I am thinking about going away this weekend

– Nemo looks sad
DYNAMIC: (Continuous) • = To turn your eyes towards something so you can
see it – She is looking (so she can see herself) in the
mirror

• Notice someone or something using your eyes
– She sees (using her eyes) a plane in the sky
DYNAMIC: (Continuous)
• Meet or visit someone by arrangement
– I am seeing (meeting) my dentist at 17.00 on Wednesday

• To have a good opinion of someone or something
– A lot of people admire (have a good opinion) of Mother Teresa
DYNAMIC: (Continuous)
• To look at with appreciation
