STATIVE VERBS ARE’NT USUALLY USED IN CONTINUOUS TENSES

They are verbs that usually describe a state, or a condition. They are not action verbs

• = To have an opinion

– I think (have an opinion) this flower is unusual

DYNAMIC: (Continuous)

• Think of/about = To be considering something

– I am thinking about going away this weekend
