SEQ Rail Stabling Program – Elimbah construction notice As part of the SEQ Rail Stabling Program, CPB Contractors will be undertaking vital construction activities between the existing rail corridor and Beerburrum Road during the scheduled track closure of the North Coast line on 27 and 28 August 2016. Between midnight and 4am Tuesday 23 August 2016, a track machine will be used to align the existing track to the turnout rail of the stabling facility. The track machine is used as part of Queensland Rail’s normal maintenance program. It picks up section of track, compacts the ballast underneath and replaces the track into position. Works undertaken as part of the scheduled track closure will occur continuously from 4am Saturday 27 August until 10pm Sunday 28 August 2016, weather permitting. Works will include: Installing signals, lighting and CCTV poles Installing electrical conduits underneath the railway line Installing razor wire to the security fence Delivery trucks and workers’ vehicles entering the site and unloading materials via Sanna Court and Hamilton Road Approx. work
