* The ASES After School Program is at an all-time high in over a decade with 10 schools in 2017-2018 fully funded (as opposed to only 4 schools fully funded in 2013-2014; this resulted in increased revenue for the District that significantly reduced the need for LCAP contribution by $376,645 over the past 4years)

* Migrant Ed Spring MESA during spring break * Our NASA STEM Academy and Intro to Coder Dojo continues strong!* Launched our folklórico partnership with Tonatiuh Danzantes del Quinto

* Successful financing of 1st issuance of Measure M Bond financing of $37.9M closed on 5-2-17

* Secured a 3.6%, $10M, 20-yr loan for our energy efficiency projects (anticipate closing date of 5-4-18). The savings from the solar systems are calculated to more than pay (by $3.3M) for the total cost of the loan.

* Secured $300K grant from CHISPA for proposed new Early Learning Center; working with Partners to raise $3.6M-$4.3M

* Increasing STRS/PERS costs, among other issues, put a strain on all districts’ base funding, however, due to our high unduplicated count for LCFF, we have a healthy LCFF Supplemental & Concentration budget

* Positive Certification by MCOE on each interim budget* Received an "A" in grading. For our recent audit (of 2016-17)

* Governor Brown approved fully funding "LCFF" in 2018/19 school year (two years early than had originally been planned)

* The district revenues are 107.8 Million or just over $12,200 per student.
