Thailand’s NSDI Devolopment and Implementation Framework
1. There are many laws relate to natural resources and the environment management with different legal definitions. Some data have different definitions and statistical standards.
2. Most data were used only in their own department, not be opened to public.
3. Most natural resources and environmental statistics were produced by specialized approaches.NSO not involve in producing those statistics.
4. Some statistics need to be compiled from area agencies but lack of staff and budget for collecting data. It causes not meet user need in term of timeliness and not produced periodically.
