ORDINANCE NO. 3122

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 118: LIQUOR CONTROL OF THE CITY CODE

OF ORDINANCES, BY THE CITY OF GREENVILLE, BOND COLTNTY, ILLINOIS

WHEREAS, it is desired that the Greenville Code of Ordinances Chapter 118: Liquor

Control be amended in the following respects: A. That portion of Section 118. 20 K, being:

K) Class K License (Packa e/ Pour License)

A Class K license shall authorize the retail sale of all varieties of alcoholic liquor

for consumption off premises, and the sale of beer and wine for consumption on

premise with a limit of two ( 2) drinks during a six ( 6) hour period; provided thatthe primary business is package liquor and/or tobacco retail sales; and furtherprovided that no gasoline is sold on said premises. The local Liquor

Commissioner shall issue zero ( 0) type K licenses. The fee for a Class K license is

referenced in § 38. 01 of this code of ordinances. Class K licenses shall authorize

the premises to be open for business from 6: 00 a.m. to 12: 00 midnight on each

day from Sunday through Thursday, and from 6: 00 a.m. to 1: 00 a.m. the

following day on each Friday and Saturday ( Fridays at 6: 00 a.m. through Saturdayat 1: 00 a.m., and Saturdays at 6: 00 a. m. through Sunday at 1: 00 a.m.). Sale of

alcohol shall cease promptly at the times set forth above and shall not commenceuntil the approved hours for the following day."

is hereby amended and replaced with the new Section 118. 20 K which will say: K) Class K License (Packa e/ Pour License)

NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Councilof the City of Greenville, Bond County, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION 2- REPEAL: All prior Ordinances and/ or Resolutions, which are

inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3- SAVINGS PROVISIONS: In the event any section, subsection, sentenceor phrase of this Ordinance should be declared invalid, all other provisions hereof shall not be

affected by such invalidity and shall remain in filll force and effect.

SECTION 4- EFFECTIVE DATE: That this Ordinance shall remain in full force and

effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
