Daily report on Public Health measures taken for COVID-19

COVID-19 testing is done in 45 Government and 36 Private labs all

over Tamil Nadu. Two private labs (Aarthi Scans and Labs, Vannarpet, Tirunelveli & Velammal medical College Hospital & RI, Anuppanadi ,

Madurai) have been approved for COVID-19 testing today. 52,334 persons have tested positive till date. 7,47,428 samples were tested negative. Testing of 681 samples are under process.

The general public are advised to adhere to health advisories and travel advisories issued by the state Government. Public should follow the

cough etiquette by covering the face using handkerchief / towel while sneezing/ coughing. Do frequent hand washing with soap and water.
