Strawberry Leaves Pattern (Make 5):Chain 9, DC in second chain from hook and in next 2 stitches, HDC in next 3, SC in last 2, chain 2, SC in secondchain from hook, SC in last stitch of your chain, now working on the other side of chain,SC in first 2, HDC in next 3, DC in last 3, join to first DC, fasten off leaving long tail to sew leaves onto hat nearbase of the stem.
Stitch on white (or black) yarn for the seeds. I used a tapestry needle to loop the white yarn in between thecrochet holes and then made a small tight knot in the back and trimmed it. It still looks a little messy on theinside, but I haven't found a great way to hide all the loose ends.... I suppose if you have the patience you couldweave in each end from your seeds.

AliciaARTificial October 2, 2013 at 5:59 PMQuestion about the child size pattern. It says to do one HDC in rounds 12-23' but there have already been 14 roundsbefore that. Should it be 15-23? Our are there more rounds at the end? Thank you for all your patterns. They areabsolutely wonderful.Reply
Mandie Dunning December 9, 2013 at 1:34 PMHi, I assume these are American crochet terms? I started it in English terms and it's far too small :-( Reply
