Make Opening Restaurant a Better Business

"Something Born for Restaurants"

In 2010, we founded 『Mazendo』, the best noodle place in

Taipei. As restaurant got popular, we found POS became the

bottleneck of operation.

We realized we need a better POS to become a better restaurant,

but we were unable to nd an ideal one in the market. We want

something smooth, exiblele , and robust. Something born for

restaurants.

So we decided to build a whole new kind, and thus we founded

iCHEF Inc. in 2012.

Actually, iCHEF is Way Beyond POS

Page 24: [Startup Nations Summit 2014] Competition - Taiwan

When a restaurant uses iCHEF, it’s every step of operation is connected with our on-line platform. iCHEF became the operation system of that restaurant.

Page 25: [Startup Nations Summit 2014] Competition - Taiwan

With merely 200 restaurants using iCHEF, we process over 200,000 transactions on-line a month, and we are expect-ing to serve more than 600 restaurants before 2015.

Page 26: [Startup Nations Summit 2014] Competition - Taiwan

With that, iCHEF is a great platform for restaurant On-line-to-Ofine application integration.

From table reservation to payment, it will be easier than ever for on-line service provider to connect their service with local restaurants.

We iCHEF believe that technology is to serve, not to re-place, the staffs in the restaurants. A dining place without service is called vending machine corner, not a restaurant.

And an ideal restaurant technology should be designed to t-in and support the current highly-evolved restaurant operation but to “revolutionize” it.

So this is iCHEF POS App, a smarter restaurant POS de-signed by restaurant for restaurants.
