DIRECTOR PROFILE

Glenn Dale

With a background in land surveying and construction setout Glenn decided to continue his studies and focus on the whole building process.

He furthered his education by completing a certificate 3 in Carpentry and then completed a certificate 4 in residential building with distinction.

Glenn has worked on various projects from residential buildings and extensions to office fit-outs and commercial refurbishments. More recently Glenn has been working on major renovations and extensions in areas such as Vaucluse, Mosman, Clifton Gardens, Surry Hills and Alexandria.

Nick Rule

Qualified carpenter, Nick has been involved in many aspects of the building industry. Nick has extensive experience and knowledge in all areas of concreting, included house slabs, factory floors, driveways and has worked with all types of decorative finishes.

Nick also has an excavators license and experience in operating a wide variety of excavating machines.

Other areas that Nick has experience in are shop fitting, renovations, roofing.

RedfernThis job was a major undertaking due to Councils restraints. The Council specified that the external façade of the building remained relatively unchanged (the only exception being the attic room extension).

The internals were another story, the inside of the building was completely removed, requiring some innovative structural works to maintain structural integrity, these were replaced by three luxury units with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and two balconies each. All units have solid timber floors above new reinforced concrete slabs with several aluminium bi-folding windows and doors to allow maximum use of outdoor areas and for excellent cross ventilation.

AlexandriaThis project entailed a major renovation to convert an existing factory (an old foundry) into a very open plan, enormous, 3 bedroom residential address.

This involved raising the existing roof up to create space for a new first floor, completely stripping out the existing factory (again only the external walls remained untouched) and eventually building a new pool in the backyard for the client and their family to enjoy.

In addition to this the client, along with the architect, had decided to subdivide the land and build a new two storey brick veneer dwelling adjacent to the factory.

This new dwelling consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry and a beautiful kitchen with a polished concrete floor.

Cronulla

This job had to be completed in the shortest time frame possible as the unit had only one bathroom and the clients had to live elsewhere whilst the job was being completed.

The bathroom was completely stripped out and redesigned to maximise the small area. This was done by removing the bath, changing the vanity position and installing a frameless glass shower unit with a strip drain for that wow factor.

Grays PointPlaced and finished 80sqm of coloured concrete driveway and finished it with a cove finish for added grip as the driveway is on quite a slope.

South CaringbahMajor renovation of a two story residential home and adding another storey. This involved extensive demolition and underpinning of the existing structure.

The house was transformed into an exclusive designer home.
