I had it all. I had a stereo that was very decent, a wardrobe that was getting very respectable. I was close to being complete.

I say never be complete, I say stop being perfect, I say... let’s evolve, let the chips fall where they may.

write ads • design campaigns • develop websites • make

games •  build strategies •  reform businesses •  come up

with and improve products & services • dabble in media

• host a hackathon • mentor start-ups • write a little code

•  present an absurd number of decks • create new

business models • schmooze clients • sleep in hotels •

travel • teach • lead workshops • write articles • give advice

•  learn all the time • experiment •  fail • get close • admit

not knowing • figure out the answer • submit panel topics

•  speak at conferences •  ask questions •  stay curious •

never be too insidery • build an app • volunteer • say yes

• hire smart people • quit when you’re ahead • know when

you can’t •  fake it ‘til you make it • disobey instructions

• apologize instead of asking permission • get distracted •

get focused • rest • have fun • overbook • ignore the cool

kids • make good things • be nice to people • be friendly

• flirt • do favors • blog •  rant • praise • love something

•  love someone •  do the best you can •  now do a little

better • don’t take any guff from those swine • read
