REGULATIONS

• All Italian FSI 2019 players are admitted, it is possible to register in the game through the Chess Academy or to present the membership declaration signed by the president of their own club. Foreign players in possession of the FIN (FIDE Identity Number).

• All electronic devices must be deposited at the wardrobe. Smoking is forbidden (even for electronic cigarettes), smokers can attend the dedicated outdoor area. Strict silence is required.

• Players not present at the time of the accreditation will enter in the second round.

• The player who shows up at the chessboard with more than 60 minutes of delay on the start time, will lose the game.

• Full-length open tournament, 5 game rounds, Swiss matching system Dutch variant, technical play-offs in the order: Buchholz cut1, Buchholz tot, A.R.O. Cadence of play 90 minutes + 30 seconds of recovery for each move starting from the first. The notation of the moves is mandatory.

• The decisions of the Arbitrator are final.

To access the playing area, players, carers and visitors will have to deliver coats and bags to the wardrobe and wear the identification badge given by the organisation.

• The prizes will be paid by bank transfer, net of any fees. Therefore be given a tax code, iban e bic/swift. The prizes will not be given in advance on the award ceremony. The prizes are indivisible and can not be combinable.

• For anything not covered in this regulation, the FSI and the FIDE rules in force at the date of the event are valid. Registration at the tournament implies the acceptance of them and in particular of the“anti cheating”control rules, the consent of the publication of their data, images and results concerning the tournament on the organisation’s media channels, and of any changes that may be necessary for the successful outcome of the event.

• Players with disabilities, with special gaming or logistic needs, are invited to advise in advance their presence.
