DAILY- Discuss how we change the classroom to meet our needs: sharpen pencils, use paper, turn on/off lights, throw away leftover food, water for cleaning, etc. Then discuss the consequences: trees had to be cut down for paper, pencils, electricity had to be made, and garbage is generated. Record on a class chart:
