Open Source And The Cloud

The public cloud is growing at a rate of over 100% per annum. Firing on all cylinders: SaaS, PaaS, IaaS

It has torn down the walls of the data centerØ There is no longer a space limit, only a cost limitØ Some functionality is self-migratingØ Things are getting very virtual

It has also invaded the data center via the private cloudØ Sometimes it’s better in privateØ ‘Time to deploy’ is being shredded even in the private cloud
