• To provide grades K-2 with Region 11 Math and Science Teacher Academy Partnership coaching in effective teaching strategies of number sense.

• To work collaboratively among teachers in grades 3-5 to create common formative assessments and measure incremental growth.

2014-15 Staff Development Goal 1

• To close the achievement gap through ongoing training in Responsive Classroom/ Developmental Designs, equity, technology integration and AVID strategies.

• To implement effective strategies in reading in the content areas including PE/Health, Social Studies, and Science.

• To vertically align the English Language Arts Standards K-12.

• To effectively implement new literacy curriculum in grades 3-5 across the district.
