Class Happenings We begin the year getting to know each other and the classroom routines. Our theme for September is “All About Me” and is sure to be fun, bringing us together to learn about our new friends. First, we meet Chester in the book A Kissing Hand. We hear his experience going to school for the first time and talk about independence and things we can do for ourselves. Our hands will help to make a friendship wreath and learn about things we can do to help in the classroom. Look for our “All About Me” projects that will be coming home! Next, we begin our letter of the week activities with letters Aa and Bb. It is time for apple tasting, alligators, and acorns, bears, balls, and balloons! This month we will also introduce/review shapes and colors, begin PT3 monthly family projects, and PT4 weekly homework activities.
