Our PreK-4 and Kindergarten classes performed a Christmas program recently that really kicked off the Christmas traditions for us at school. Our school choir with Mrs. Carr brought Christmas cheer by singing carols at Norfolk International Airport. Last night’s Carol Night program, showcased our students as they reminded us of the Nativity story and shared their beautiful voices of praise. On Monday, December 18 our Middle School will enjoy a special breakfast and our school band, strings, guitar, and choir will perform two Christmas concerts one during the day for the school community and one at night for our families. On Tuesday, December 19, our Christmas Prayer service at the end of the day will recognize our 8th grade students who participated in the Knights of Columbus essay contest and those students nominated in the their grade for Virtue of the Month in November for Gratitude. Please remember that the 19th is a 1:30 p.m. early dismissal. On behalf of everyone at St. Pius X, let me wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy the break from school and if you are travelling, please be safe. We look forward to seeing you in 2018. God bless, Mark Zafra Principal St. Pius X School Lost and Found! Be sure to label all your child’s loose articles of clothing in case they are lost. Issue 9 December 13, 2017 from The Faculty and Staff
