S"]])#%<]) S%#)$$ S(!^<=> Y!" D!^=? We like to think of summer as being a relaxing, enjoyable time. However...hurts, struggles, crises, and problems don’t take a vaca-tion. Many times our difficulties seem even worse during the summer because everyone else seems to be enjoying life while you are feeling down. If you are experiencing a difficult time, you don’t have to suffer alone. Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers, ready to listen, care for and encourage you, pray with and for you to help you through whatever it is that you are facing. It’s free. It’s confidential. CARE & SUPPORT/MARRIAGE & FAMILY

MARRIAGE MINUTE

Who doesn’t love a good meal shared

with friends? In this week’s readings,

we see profound moments taking place

over such a meal. Hospitality is a

simple way that married couples can

share the graces of their sacrament with

those around them. Here are some

ways to make it happen on a regular

basis:

· Keep it simple! It’s okay to invite

friends for a weeknight, crockpot of

chili, in a cluttered house.

· Be deliberate about scheduling.

Decide with your spouse how often

you’d like to host others.

· Schedule right away: take out

calendars, and find a date, even if

it’s several weeks out.

· Be generous. Outside your

immediate friend group are elderly

people, single moms, young

singles and new families in your

parish that would appreciate a meal

with you. Invite them!

For other ways to serve as a couple,

check out Level 4 at

www.JoyfulMarriageProject.com

Getting married? Need to schedule a Baptism?
