RICE RESIDENCE
A 17-storey high rise eaturing sel-contained two-
bedroom apartments shared by our students, each
with a ull kitchen, urniture and a great view.
• Rice offers the best of both worlds: the independent
liestyle o apartment living while conveniently
located on campus.
• Rice is closest to the Tower, allowing easy access
to our exercise acilities.
• Meal plans are optional in Rice, since apartment
suites include kitchens.
VANIER RESIDENCE
A low-rise building with all-male, all-emale and co-
ed foors. Each level has a common lounge (with a
big-screen television) and three suites, each withtwo single and two double rooms.
• The Super Single option means returning students
can apply to have an entire double room to themselves.
• The low-rise structure means no wait for elevators.
• Vanier hosts the only lounges that look out over the
ootball eld.
LOYOLA RESIDENCE
A 22-storey high rise with a mix o all-male, all-emale
and co-ed foors. Each level includes a lounge (with a
big-screen television), shared kitchenette and our suites,
each with our single rooms and one double room.
• Enjoy panoramic views of the Halifax Harbour andthe downtown cityscape.
• Each oor features two storage closets to keep
bulky luggage and sports equipment out o the way.
• Loyola is in closest proximity to academic buildings.
Ellen Hines knew that residence lie would be an important part o
her university experience. As a reshman in Rice residence, she and
roommate Wandi Xing can cook their own meals and enjoy away-
rom-home living while still being right on campus. “I wanted to be
independent and residence has been great or meeting people and
eeling like I’m part o a community, and there’s always something
