Today we hear the story of Zacchaeus a man so interested in seeing

Jesus he gave up his dignity and climbed a tree The people of his

town saw Zacchaeus as a traitor and a cheat but Jesus saw a man des-

perate for love and mercy Zacchaeus saw in Jesus someone who did

not judge him and saw only his best and truest self How do we see

others Do we see as God sees Do we see the full dignity of every

person as beloved of God and treat them with that dignity What can

we do this week to see people differently

Today is our annual diocesan Catholic Services Ap-

peal The Catholic Services Appeal gives us the opportu-

nity to act together as a diocesan family caring for our

active and retired priest helping those in need promoting

a culture of life encouraging religious vocation and edu-

cating our youth Every gift regardless of the size is vital

to the success of the Catholic Services Appeal Our goal

this year is to have 100 participation Please give in ac-

cordance with your means

Manto de Maria Will be selling home-made beef and

chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans after each

Mass $1000 a plate with drink included All proceeds

will go towards the purchase of the flowers amp deacutecor for

Our Lady of Guadalupe Festival on December 14th

Ladies Altar Guild amp Knights of Columbus Will meet

next Sunday November 10th

after the 800 am Mass in

the Parish Hall Members are requested to attend

St Maryrsquos Prayer Group will have a food booth next

Salvadorian Pupusas and Mexican food with all the trim-

mings $1000 a plate with drink included All proceeds

will go for Fr Pius expenses in Mexico

St Maryrsquos Spirits Will meet Friday November 14th in

the Parish Hall at 930 am-1200 pm Everyone is wel-

come to come join us for games fellowship and snacks

Please come and bring a friend and your favorite games

Followed by Communion Service at 1210 pm would

be nice if we all went to offer up our prayers for those in

our group who are sick

Altar Guild will host Turkey BINGO A turkey and ham

lunch will start after 1000 am Mass followed by 10

rounds of BINGO Prizes include turkeys hams and gift

dren under 12 are free Your ticket will get you a fantastic

lunch and one BINGO card Extra cards will be available

Followed by Communion Service at 1210 pm would

Today is our annual diocesan Catholic Services Ap-

peal The Catholic Services Appeal gives us the opportu-

nity to act together as a diocesan family caring for our

active and retired priest helping those in need promoting

a culture of life encouraging religious vocation and edu-

cating our youth Every gift regardless of the size is vital

to the success of the Catholic Services Appeal Our goal

this year is to have 100 participation Please give in ac-
