I am planning to offer a parenting class based on Jim Fay and Dr. Charles Fay's Love and Logic Series: Simple Parenting Strategies for Raising Great Kids in Complicated Times. It will run four Tuesday evenings from October 29th to November 19th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm and there is no cost to participate.

I was first exposed to the Love and Logic Institute when my children were in grade school. Combining humor with natural consequences, Love and Logic seeks to empower parents and children to take responsibility for conflict situations and offers practical advice on how to diffuse emotionally loaded interactions.

SMM Guidance Counselor [email protected]

From their website: “Raise children who are self-confident, motivated, and ready for the real world with this win-win approach to parenting. Your children will win because they’ll learn to solve their own problems while gaining the confidence they need to meet life’s challenges. And you’ll win because you’ll establish healthy control—without resorting to anger, threats, nagging or exhausting power struggles.”

If you are interested in attending, please sign up here: Simple Parenting Strategies for Raising Great Kids in
