Next Sunday, March 15, we have the privilege of confirming these young people in faith. Our confirmation experience is planned for Sunday afternoon from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ministry Center. You will find a reservation card for the celebration meal in this week’s bulletin. The service of Confirmation will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Ministry Center. Plan to be a part of this important time of our young people and their families and of this red-letter day in the life of St. Luke Church. ST. LUKE ON THE MOVE The television broadcast of St. Luke’s 11:00 a.m. worship service will be moving in the month of March. We are moving from WTVM Channel 9 to WXTX Channel 54 on the Fox Network. This move offers several real advantages for our broadcast ministry: 1. The first advantage is that our worship service will be broadcast at 11:00 a.m. instead of 10:30 a.m. 2. The second is that our service will be broadcast live (no edits or re-dos) instead of a broadcast of the previous week’s service by video tape. 3. The third is that the service will be broadcast in its entirety (the whole hour) instead of the half-hour edited version. We hope these changes will enhance our outreach in the Columbus community and surrounding area and that it will help homebound individuals/families to connect more fully with the worship life of St. Luke through the broadcast. We will continue to Live Stream the service as we have been doing. We are thankful for our long and fruitful relationship with WTVM, but we look forward to this new chapter in our outreach through WXTX in the days ahead. Remember: Daylight Savings time begins this Sunday, March 8. Reset your clocks forward by one hour.

neW SunDaY SChooL CLaSS for aDuLtS An in-depth Bible study Sunday School class for adults of any age, 10:00 a.m. Sunday, in the Meeting Room, Ministry Center. Adults who have participated in Disciple or Christian Believer can anticipate the same kind of transformative deep study of Scripture. Questions? [email protected].

“This Is Love” arr. David Hamilton For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Thanks be to our God. Thanks be to our God through Jesus Christ, our Lord. This is love; not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. For He, Himself, is our peace.
