DIOCESAN NEWS. In 2012 for only the second time in its history, the Archdiocese of Miami convened a Synod, that is, a
process by which Catholics in S. Florida gathered and told Archdiocese Wenski about their concerns, what the Church does well and what their dreams are for their local Church. Next Saturday, this 18 month Synod will
conclude with Mass at the Miami Hilton Downtown, 1601 Biscayne Blvd., at 9am followed by the presentation
of the Synod results. Cardinal Oscar Andres Rodriguez Maradiaga of Honduras, who is one of the group of
eight cardinals appointed by Pope Francis to help him reform the Vatican administration, will deliver a keynote address at this Assembly. Everyone is welcome to attend this closing assembly, to RSVP contact Jacqueline
Debs at 305-762-1088.

community by making a bequest in your Will to our parish. For more information, contact the Rectory or call the Office of
