Tuesday 23 January Associate Professor Andrew Singleton Andrew Singleton, PhD, is a sociologist in the School
of Social Sciences and Humanities at Deakin
University. He is author of Religion, Culture and
Society: A Global Approach and co-author (with
Michael Mason and Ruth Webber) of The Spirit of Generation Y:
Young People’s Spirituality in a Changing Australia. Session 1: Mak-
ing Sense of the Generational Decline in Anglican Identity.
Session 2: Remaking spirituality: The religious and spiritual lives of
Australia's teens.
Wednesday 24 January The Very Revd Dr Andreas Loewe is the Dean of Melbourne. He is an historian and musician with a particular interest in the music of Bach and the theology of Luther, fellow compatriots from Andreas’ German birthplace. This
convergence will prove to be a rich experience on the day.
Thursday 25 January The Revd John Stewart
Fr John is the Director of the Living Well Centre for
Christian Spirituality and well known to many in the
Diocese and beyond. He will bring The Rule of
Benedict, written in the 6th century, to new life for us,
who live in the equally unstable 21st century.
