MASS INTENTIONS ($10.00) The Church considers the Mass the greatest possible prayer of
intercession because it is the perfect offering of Christ to the
Father by making present the Paschal Mystery of His death and
resurrec on.
It is a longstanding tradi on in the Church that a Priest may be
requested to offer a Mass for a specific inten on, even when
one cannot be physically present at the Mass.
The faithful make a free will offering, called a s pend, to a
priest or Religious Community in order to apply the Mass to a
specific inten on. By making this offering, the faithful, by
making their own offering, associate themselves more
in mately with Christ who offers Himself in the Sacred Host,
and obtain thereby more abundant fruits (refer to Pope Paul
VI's le er "Firma in Tradi one" (Firm in Tradi on) of
June 13, 1974).

Report
St. Frederic Catholic Church, November 2017—November 2020 Capital Campaign Week 23
Dear Parishioners,
I invite you to read carefully Ma hew 6:25‐33 and ask yourself how are you par cipa ng in God’s stewardship in your
parish.
“Trust in Providence—That is why I am telling you not to worry about your life and what you are to eat, nor about your
body and what you are to wear. Look at the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or gather into burns; yet your Heavenly
Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they are? Can any of you, however much you worry, add one single
cubit to your span of life? And why worry about clothing? Think of the flowers growing in the fields; they never have to work
or spin; yet I assure you that not even Solomon in all his royal robes was clothed like one of these” . . . Your Heavenly Father
knows you need them all. Set your hearts on his kingdom first, and on God’s saving justice, and all these other things will be
given to you as well.
So do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:25‐33
