Uniform Guidelines for All Students
• Walking shorts may be worn the first day of classes in August until November 1 and the first
Monday following Spring Break until classes dismiss in May
• No logos, brands, insignias, or trims of any kind are to adorn any clothing, with the exception
of athletic shoes and the St. Eugene sweatshirts or socks with the school crest
• Jewelry is to be limited to silent wristwatch and/or small religious medal or cross around the
neck. Only small stud earrings (one per ear) may be worn by girls
• Rubber bracelets are not permitted, including those with religious messages
• Hair accessories for girls must be modest in style and size and need to be the uniform plaid
colors or a solid uniform color
• Hair feathers are not permitted
• Nail polish (except clear), artificial nails, lip gloss, tattoos, or body piercings are never
permitted
• Undershirts/underclothing must be solid white
• No extremes in hair are permitted (color, bleaching, style, or length)
• Length of hair for boys should not be longer than to the top of the eyebrow and neatly
trimmed at the top of the collar
• Mohawk style haircuts are not permitted
• If needed, boys should be neatly shaven -- Visible facial hair is not permitted

ShoesAll shoes must fit properly, with closed heel and toe, flat
heels and no platforms.
Permitted:
• Athletic shoes
• Dress shoes (not required for Mass)
Not Permitted:
• Boots
• Sandals
• Light up shoes
• Wheeled shoes
• Shoes with extreme patterns, excessive beading or glitter,
flashing lights, wheels, or inappropriate logos (for example:
skull and cross bones)
Since shoe styles available are constantly changing in the stores
please check with the administration if you have a doubt
about the appropriateness of the shoe.
Even if the student has worn the shoes, if they are considered
inappropriate or extreme, they will not be allowed to wear

What if I don’t follow the uniform policy?
If students make choices in their appearance that do not conform to the school dress code policy,
the school may exercise the following options:
• Student may be asked to sign the uniform infraction book
• Uniform infraction notice will be sent home to the parent
• Parents may be called to pick up the student
• Student may be removed from class
• Student may be denied participation from out-of-uniform days
• Student may be denied recess
• Student may be required to serve detention before/after school
Please check with your local store for holiday hours.

Uniform Exchange
The Uniform Exchange allows you to trade in your old uniforms for new sizes! We have a broad range of all sizes and types.
Watch for information on the Uniform Exchanges hosted every summer by the PTO.
What if I need a Uniform in November or February?
You can email, call, or text Ashlei McMahill and the first Friday of each month, she will gather all uniform requests and will deliver uniforms to cafeteria after school.
How do I donate uniforms?
Bring your CLEAN uniforms to any of the uniform exchanges or email, call, or text Ashlei McMahill to arrange drop off at the school the first Friday of each month.
What about Kindergarten Uniforms?
We have some Kindergarten sizes, so please check with us before shopping elsewhere.
