Prayer Before Mass Come, Holy Spirit, quiet my heart and my head, as I gather with my family, friends and neighbors to celebrate Mass. Quiet the thoughts

and distractions that will keep me from worship. Open my mouth in prayer and song. Open my ears to hear God’s word. Open my eyes to

the mystery of the Eucharist. Open my heart to receive Jesus with love. May I go forth strengthened to take the Mass into my life this

week. In a special way, we pray for our twinning parish, St. Mary’s in Uxbridge. Amen.

Oración Antes De La Misa Ven, Espíritu Santo, silencia mi corazón y mi cabeza, y así junto con mi familia, amigos y vecinos celebrar esta misa. The Epiphany of the Lord Today, as we celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord, we reflect on the presentation of gifts to the newborn King. The

three magi came from the East to bring exquisite gifts and to see the Christ child. Gifts of gold, incense, and perfume would have been rare and expensive, but these men wanted to share only their very best. How does that

compare to the gifts that you bring before our Lord today? Have you come with a desire to share only the very best of yourself? Do not be intimidated by the wealth that the magi had at their disposal. God does not require your wealth; He desires the humility of heart that allows one to make a tremendous gift of self. A disciple’s heart is a

humble heart. Like the magi, prostrate yourself before the Lord and offer him only the very best of yourself.

Pilgrimage to Greece in the Footsteps of St. Paul From Oct. 28 through Nov. 7, 2020, join Fr. William Schipper and Ray Delisle as we Discover Greece: in the Footsteps of St. Paul the Apostle.
