The Bridgeville Community Food

Bank thanks us for our con2nuing gen-

erosity. During the October 19th distri-

bu2on, 89 families were

assisted which included

41 children, 73 adults

and 61 of the elderly.

Next weekend our parish will take up a

collec2on to benefit the Archdiocese for

the Military Services, USA, (AMS) a trien-

nial collec2on approved by the US Con-

ference of Catholic Bishops. Including

families, AMS priests and deacons serve

approximately 1.8 million Catholics who

hail from 50 US states and US territories.

While the salaries and re2rement of

Catholic military chaplains are paid for

by the US Government, the AMS does

not receive any funding from the gov-

ernment or military for program and

administra2ve costs. Please prayerfully

consider a contribu2on to this special

collec2on to support ac2veduty mili-

tary men and women, and their

families, including those from our own

parish and diocese.
