ST. AUGUSTINE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY
1.0 Applying to SAiU
We are pleased that you are considering applying to St. Augustine International University
(SAIU). Welcome to the SAIU community. SAIU is registered with the National Council for Higher
Education (NCHE), the body established by law to accredit and supervise institutions of higher
learning in Uganda.
SAIU is ready to take care of your educational needs and desires. By choosing SAIU, you are
joining a club of “Cultivators and Producers of Job Creators” driven by latest technology and
management systems. SAIU’s top quality faculty will be driven by excellence and blending an
understanding of law, technology and society, business and economics, markets and corporate
power to achieve its vision and mission of educating and training ethical and competent graduates.
Our students will pursue green programs (hands-on or practical), enjoy private sector led training
with “closed systems”, and be exposed to the best things humans have invented or innovated
and incorporating them into what students are doing.
No matter what you have heard about how hard it is to get to SAIU, admission is based on merit;
we select each other based on mutual benefit not upon reputation alone. There should be a sense
of resonance between us. In order to determine that resonance, we each need to understand
each other, what our values are, what makes us come alive.
And having briefly known who we are, we need to know who you are. Completing this application
allows you do just that. Don’t worry about trying to be someone you think we want. We want you
just the way you are.
All the best
