ALL SHEEP must be MV accredited, registered or eligible for registration with the British Texel Sheep Society.
ALL EWES must be warranted by the Vendor, correct in mouth and udder.
The appointed Inspector on behalf of the Derbyshire Texel Club reserves the right to reject any sheep put forward for sale that in their opinion is not up to a suitable standard.

Neck tags supplied must be worn by all sheep PRIOR to the inspection.
Individual animal ID numbers on ear tags must match the ID number displayed in the sales catalogue and substitute catalogue.

AUCTION MART RULES FOR VENDORS
The Shepherd in charge must bring their respective lots forward, take them to and from the Sale Ring, attend until delivered and assist in trucking if required as the Auctioneers will be responsible only for what is delivered to the purchaser. Should the Shepherd not be in attendance at the time his lots fall to be sold, it will be passed over and taken at the end of Sale.
All Stock will proceed in the order of the Catalogue and all lots not previously entered will be sold only when the list is finished.
All purchases to be settled for and taken delivery of on the Day of Sale.
No stock can be removed without a Pass.
Purchasers should see that their Stock is correct before leaving the gates, as no deduction can be made afterwards.
No Private Sales prior to the Stock being offered by Auction will be allowed or recognised by the Salesman.
The usual commission must be paid on consignments sold privately within this Market.
RULES OF SHOW CONDITIONS
1. The Show is organised by the Derbyshire Texel Club.
2. Each Vendor (exhibitor) is allowed only one entry in each show class, unless announced different.
3. All exhibits are to be ready for judging by 10 a.m. or such other time as the organisers shall declare. Every effort will be made by the Organisers to announce the commencement of the judging of each class, but it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that their exhibit is available for judging at the correct time. Particular attention is drawn to class winner eligible for championship judging to be in the ring at the appropriate time. Exhibits that are not forward at judging time will not be judged.
4. PLEASE NOTE WHITE COATS MUST BE WORN WHEN SHOWING STOCK.
5. All prize winners must be offered for sale by auction by the exhibitor at the sale following the show. All prize monies and awards will be withheld unless sold in the auction.
6. All exhibits will be sold in catalogue order, regardless of awards.
7. The decision of the judge is final in matters of judging, and of the organisers in the organisation of the show.
