Dear Sisters and Brothers, Happy Feast Day of St. Anne!!! May God bless you in every way you need!!! May He give you a heart to see his blessings and a time to enjoy them!!! May you receive a wise heart, to be able to see what is good and what is God’s will, and be able to do it. As Solomon did in the first reading today, asking for the gift to be able to serve by judging justly all things, and with it God gave him all other

blessings. But what opened God’s heart, was the humility of Solomon, who put others ahead of his own personal interests. Another prayer for wisdom is the serenity prayer used by 12 steps or Alcoholic Anonymous recovery programs: “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.” These two prayers prove to be very powerful, judging by the fruits that they produce in the lives of those who make them their own. How powerful was the Prayer of Solomon, that made God give him all other blessings and human respect? How powerful is the Serenity Prayer, that helps to reform and restore broken lives of people struggling with the worst enemy of their own addiction to: alcohol, drugs, sex, pornography, video games, social media? But in order to profit from those prayers, one has to admit to the need found in ones heart. How do we decide for what we should pray? What would Solomon say about our prayer? As we look at our Patroness St. Anne, and what she accomplished with her husband by preparing a home for the Blessed Mother, we can only marvel. Even more, how holy St. Anne was, as to be gifted with this “Angel Girl”, one that was conceived without original sin. St. Ann is the Mother of the “Immaculate Conception”, that is Mary, who is the Mother of Jesus. Something what St. Anne experienced in her faith, in her life, in her body, in her whole being, as a most extraordinary and unique, a singular grace of carrying the Holy Virgin, the Mother of Jesus, the Savior of the world, we as humanity could come to grasp after 18 centuries. It took 18 centuries for us to hear of this mystery of Immaculate Conception from Blessed Mother herself, at the grotto of Lourdes in 1858, three years after the Dogma of Immaculate Conception was promulgated be the Holy Father. St. Bernadette would be the recipient of this confirmation from the Blessed Mother, for what the Fathers of the Church declared recently. Imagine St. Anne living that mystery in her life before even Jesus was born. She must have being a mystic, who lived through and contemplated in her own body the mystery of Immaculate Conception. She must have perceived in her faith and senses, that she was about to bring to the world a New Eve, a New Mother of Humankind, a beginning of the world’s salvation. Can we imagine the magnitude of this events, and the repercussions of this grace given to Blessed Mother through her Mom, that is St. Anne? Our understanding and knowledge of St. Anne is too poor. It is easy to underestimate her role and greatness. Let’s not be filled by our ignorance, let’s pray and ponder, striving for understanding and appreciation of Saint Anne’s role in the history of salvation. How powerful intercessor we have in Saint Anne? She is a great Saint, and we are blessed to have her watch over our parish. Prayer to Saint Anne: Good St. Anne, you were especially favored by God to be the mother of the most holy Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Savior. By your power with your most pure daughter and with her divine Son, kindly obtain for us the graces that we need for our parish, and for all people entrusted to us. Please secure for us also forgiveness of our past sins, the strength to perform faithfully our daily duties and the help we need to persevere in the love of Jesus and Mary. Amen. Queridas Hermanas y Hermanos,

¡Feliz Dia de la Fiesta de Santa Ana! ¡Que Dios les bendiga en todo lo que necesiten! ¡

Que le de un corazón para ver su bendición y un tiempo para disfrutarlas! Que reciban

un corazón sabio, para poder ver lo que es bueno y lo que es voluntad de Dios, y poder

hacerlo.

Como lo hizo Solomon en la primera lectura de hoy, pidiendo el regalo para poder

servir al juzgar con justicia todas las cosas, y con el Dios le dio todas las demás bendi-

ciones. Pero lo que abrió el Corazón de Dios fue la humildad de Salomón , que puso a

los demás por delante de sus propios intereses personales.

Otra oración por sabiduría es la oración de serenidad utilizada en los 12 pasos del programa de Recuperación de Alcohólicos

Anónimos: “Dios, concédeme la serenidad para aceptar las cosas que no puedo cambiar,

Valor para cambiar las cosas que puedo, Y Sabiduría para saber la diferencia”.

Estas dos oraciones demuestran ser muy poderosas, a juzgar por los frutos que producen en la vida de quienes los hacen suyos.

¿Cuan poderosa fue la oración de Salomón, que hizo que Dios le diera todas las demás bendiciones y el respeto humano? ¿Qué tan

poderosa es la oración de serenidad, que ayuda a retomar y restaurar las vidas rotas de las personas que luchan con el peor

enemigo de su propia adiciona a: alcohol, drogas, sexo, pornografía, juego de videos, redes sociales? Pero para beneficiarse de

esas oraciones, uno tiene que admitir la necesidad que se encuentra en el corazón. ¿Cómo decidimos por lo que debemos orar?

¿Qué diría Salomón sobre nuestra oración?

Cuando miramos a nuestra Patrona, Santa Ana, y lo que ella logro con su esposo al preparar un hogar para la Santísima Madre,

solo podemos maravillarnos, aun mas, cuan santa era Santa Ana, al ser dotada con esta” Niña Ángel”, una que fue concebida sin

pecado original. Santa Ana es la Madre de “Inmaculada Concepción”, es decir, María, que es la Madre de Jesús. Algo que Santa

Ana experimento en su fe, en su vida, en su cuerpo, en todo su ser, como lo mas extraordinario y único, una gracias singular de

llevar a la Santa Virgen, la Madre de Jesús, el Salvador del mundo, como la humanidad podría llegar a comprender después del

siglos 18th.

Nos llevo 18th siglos escuchar sobre este misterio de la Inmaculada Concepción de la misma Madre Santísima, en la gruta de

Lourdes en el 1858, tres años después de que el Santo Padre promulgara el Dogma de la Inmaculada Concepción . Santa

Bernardita seria el destinatario de esta confirmación de la Santísima Madre, por lo que los Padres de la Iglesia declararon

recientemente.

Imagine a Santa Ana viviendo ese misterio en su vida incluso antes de que Jesús naciera. Ella debe haber sido una mística, que

vivió y contemplo en su propio cuerpo el misterio de la Inmaculada Concepción. Ella debe haber percibido en su fe y sus sentidos,

que estaba a punto de traer al mundo una Nueva Eva, una Nueva Madre de la Humanidad, un comienzo de la de la salvación del

mundo.

¿Podemos imaginar la magnitud de estos eventos y las repercusiones de esta gracia dada a la Santísima Madre a través de su

Madre, que es Santa Ana? Nuestra comprensión y conocimiento de Santa Ana es demasiado pobre. Es fácil subestimar su papel y

grandeza. No nos dejemos llevar por nuestra ignorancia, oremos y reflexionemos, esforzándonos por comprender y apreciar el papel

de Santa Ana en la historia de la salvación. ¿Qué tan poderoso intercesor tenemos en Santa Ana? Ella es una gran santa, y

tenemos la bendición de que vigile nuestra parroquia.

Oración a Santa Ana:

Buena Santa Ana, fuiste especialmente favorecida por Dios para ser la madre de la Santisima Virgen Maria, la Madre de

nuestro Salvador. Por tu poder con tu hija mas pura y con su Hijo divino, amablemente obtén para nosotros las gracias que

necesitamos para nuestra parroquia y para todas las personas que nos confían. Asegurenos también el perdon de nuestros pecados

pasados, la fuerza para realizar fielmente nuestros deberes diarios y la ayuda que necesitamos para perseverar en el amor de Jesus

y María. Amen.

Dios les bendiga a todos siempre!

ACTE DE COMMUNION SPIRITUELLE

« Seigneur Jésus, je crois fermement que Tu es présent dans le Saint Sacrement de l’Eucharistie. Je T’aime plus que tout et je Te désire de toute mon âme.

« Après toi languit ma chair comme une terre assoiffée » (psaume 62)

Je voudrais Te recevoir aujourd’hui avec tout l’amour de la Vierge Marie, avec la joie et la ferveur des saints.

Puisque je suis empêché de Te recevoir sacramentellement, viens au moins

spirituellement visiter mon âme.

Evangile selon St Mt 13, 44-52 Le trésor caché et la perle (44-46) : Le choix du Royaume mérite à coup sur la priorité absolue et un engagement total. Encore faut-il apprécier ce trésor a sa juste valeur pour être capable de tout

lui sacrifier. La parabole du filet (47-50) : Cette parabole se

réfère au jugement final. Un tri devra s’opérer. Ce passage prend ainsi valeur d’avertissement

solennel. Pourquoi attendre pour choisir de croire et pour aimer Dieu ?

Des richesses nouvelles et anciennes (51-52) : Même le plus fin connaisseur des Ecritures

enrichit sa manière de les comprendre quand il

s’ouvre au message et à l’œuvre de Jésus, car les choses prennent pour lui un relief différent.

Peut-être ce Maitre de la loi devenu disciple est-il

La “veneración” a Santa Ana viene desde el s. XIII en el Occidente cristiano, aunque en Oriente

ya se le daba culto desde el s. IV. Tiene amplia difusión en los EE. UU. y en muchos países de

América Latina. Su festividad se fijó en nuestra Iglesia Católica para Julio 26. Efectivamente, es-

te año, la festividad de la Parroquia cae el “día preciso” en que lo indica el calendario litúrgico,

sin embargo, a consecuencia de la pandemia, no pudo tener la algarabía de otros años.

Alguno se preguntará, si eso tiene relevancia o no, lo cierto, depende de la óptica que cada uno

quiera darle. Un enfoque bien pudiera ser el de “aprender a vivir con intensidad los momentos fa-

vorables, felices, etc. que la vida nos presenta”, uno de ellos es el de estar con la familia y los

amigos, por ejemplo; con cierta dificultad venimos haciendo la Novena a Santa Ana que hoy

concluye, que cada uno saque sus propias conclusiones.

A Santa Ana se le vincula con San Joaquín, la festividad seria entonces de los SS. Joaquín y

Ana “padres de María, la madre de Jesús”, es decir, estamos celebrando el día de “los abue-

los”. El Papa Francisco, recientemente, ha resaltado lo importante que ellos son en la Iglesia, la

Familia y la Sociedad en general. No podemos hablar de abuelos como “ancianos”, pues, la reali-

dad que vivimos en ambiente hispano es la de “abuelos jóvenes”, en cualquier caso, de una

manera u otra, representan ellos la memoria histórica y la experiencia de la vida.

Oración. Señor, Dios de nuestros padres, que otorgaste a San Joaquín y Santa Ana la gracia de

tener como hija a la Madre de tu Hijo encarnado, concédenos, por su intercesión que alcancemos

la salvación prometida a tu pueblo. Amén.
