Agricultural Science*- beginning level course that covers California commodities, FFA and livestock care and feeding.

Agricultural Biology**- similar to a regular biology course with agricultural aspects interwoven into the curriculum.

Agricultural Chemistry**- similar to a regular chemistry course with agricultural aspects interwoven into the curriculum.

History and Art of Floral Design** *-teaches the beginning skills in floral design.

Advanced Floriculture

Wildlife- focuses on the daily activities, feeding, and courtship habits of North American wildlife amd Natural Resources

Agricultural Business*- study of business opportunities and economics in Agriculture.

Animal Anatomy and Physiology* focuses on animal science, anatomy, physiology, reproduction, nutrition, respiration and genetics.

Construction-Technology foundation in basic AgMechanics shop skills including woodworking, metals projects, electrical, and plumbing.

Advanced Construction-Technology

Ornamental Horticulture*- instructs students in the growth, production, and care of plants for ornamental purposes.

Qreenhouse/ Qorden The greenhouse and garden is located on LHS c ampus and is ut i l ized by s tudents that are enrol led in an Agr icu l ture c lass. S tudents grow f lowers and vegetab le plants and have a plant sa le . The garden produces a var ie ty of vegetab les , which provides a wonder fu l hands on learning exper ience .

77School farm The FFA Schoo l Farm is a f ive acre faci l i ty located off campus . It inc ludes pens for swine, l ambs , goats , or s teers that can be used by s tudents who do not have the space at home to care for an an ima l to raise for the fair. This is a wonder fu l asset for the Agr icu l tura l Depar tment .
