❖ Billy Elliot the Musical Dreams don’t come easy in the hardscrabble mining town, driven by a bitter national strike, where eleven-year-old Billy lives with his bereaved family. But Billy’s discovery of his talent for dance awakens in him a passion that will transform his life and win the hearts of his
whole community. With its inspirational story, breathtaking dance numbers and music by pop legend Elton John, this award-winning show will appeal to all.
❖ Little Shop of Horrors Skid Row florist’s clerk Seymour Krelborn is too shy to declare his love for his co-worker Audrey – until a mysterious exotic plant brings him unexpected fame and fortune. There’s just one problem: the plant has ambitions of its own, and it thrives on only one food – human
blood. Awesome special effects, a tender love story and a fabulous sixties-style score all combine to make this deliciously campy sci-fi spoof a “monster” hit.
❖ Henry VIII Church and state collide when England’s king defies papal authority by seeking to divorce his wife, Katherine of Aragon. The consequences will be epochal for the country – and calamitous for the king’s adviser, Cardinal Wolsey, who has been playing a dangerous game of his own.
Passion, political intrigue and personal faith drive the action as Shakespeare brings vividly to life the thrilling human drama behind a pivotal moment in history.
Our Trip Includes: ❖ Premium seating at the three shows ❖ Double-occupancy lodging at the Festival Inn Hotel ❖ Group Lunch Buffet on Thursday ❖ Deluxe Buffet dinner on Thursday evening ❖ Breakfast Friday ❖ Deluxe motor coach transportation from Tawas City Wal-

The ARK Encounter National Underground Railroad Freedom
Center, Cincinnati Art Museum and the National Museum of the US Air Force
September 11 - 13, 2019
We will travel to Cincinnati on our first day, stopping in Bowling Green to visit Snook’s Dream Cars and to have lunch. Snook’s has car collections and memorabilia presented in period time scenes ranging from a 1930s general store to a racetrack from the 1960s. On day 2, we will head to The ARK Encounter in Kentucky. The ARK Encounter is a full sized reconstruction of Noah’s Ark,
making it the largest timber-framed structure in the world. Dozens of exhibits within this unique attraction will bring to life the biblical account of Noah’s Ark. You will learn how Noah’s family cared for the animals, what Noah’s world was like before the flood, as well as the impact of the flood on our world. We will return to Cincinnati in the afternoon to visit the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. The Center reveals the stories of freedom’s heroes from the era of the Underground Railroad through contemporary times. In the evening, we are privileged to have a catered dinner at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Located in scenic Eden Park, The Cincinnati Art Museum features a diverse, encyclopedic art collection of more than 67,000 works spanning 6,000 years. On day 3, when traveling home, we will stop at the National Museum of the US Air Force. Their galleries present military aviation history, boasting more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles on display. This place brings history to life and connects the Wright Brothers’ legacy with today’s stealth and precision technology. Price includes bus and driver, lodging, admission to all exhibits and 7 meals.
