Sports injuries and management ABOUT THE ORGANISERS Saraswat Vidyalaya's Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies : part of Saraswat Education Society (SES), one of the oldest educational societies (since 1911) dedicated to imparting quality education in Goa, with its presence in primary, secondary, higher secondary, undergraduate and post graduate education. Since 1991, Saraswat Vidyalaya's Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies conducts undergraduate courses in Commerce and Business Administration, and Computer Application, affiliated to Goa University. The college, located at Mapusa, 13 km from Panaji, has earned a name for itself as a well disciplined college where the thrust is on quality education and all round development of young minds. The Sports Department of the college has done exceedingly well since 1991 and has been consistently bringing laurels to the institution. Besides winning various championships at the intercollegiate and university levels, the college has also produced national and even international level players. Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies, Khorlim, Mapusa, Goa is celebrating Silver Jubilee Year and on this occasion it was decided to organise "Sports for Humanism and Social Transformation" ABOUT GOA ABOUT PANAJI CITY Goa was liberated from the Portuguese in 1961 and declared as a separate state in 1987. The scenic beauty of Goa, the sun, sand, surf and the sea attract thousands of tourists. The total area of Goa is 3701 sq. km. It comprises of 12 talukas with two districts. The population of Goa is around 15 Lakhs and it is one of the smallest but quite developed state in India. Panjim is a small and charming city on the bank of the Mandovi river. The city has interesting churches and cathedrals and a string of beaches. A tiny village until the mid eighteen century, it became the administrative seat of Portuguese India and then state capital on Goa's elevation to statehood in May 1987. Today it is the administrative centre and the largest city after Vasco and Margao. SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT AND PAPERS FULL PAPER : CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE : 1. Papers should not exceed eight pages (Strictly) typed neatly in double space on one side of A-4 size paper. 3. Abstract may be submitted in not more than 200 words including title, author's name, Institution of affiliation. Abstracts typed in English only will be accepted. 4. Abstract/Paper should be submitted electronically via e-mail through MS Word on conference e-mail address : [email protected] 5. Abstract should reach the organisors not later than 28th February 2016. Full Paper should reach the organisors with the registration fee on or before 15th April 2016. The organisors proposes to publish selected papers in full and the remaining in abstract form in the journal to be released during the conference with International Code.
