Ashtama Varshika Sata Sumangali Laksha Kumkuma Archana
About the Event Sri Lalitha Peetham is celebrating Eighth Anniversary of Sri Lalitha Devi Prana Pratistha on March 17, 18 & 19, 2017 by performing a 3 day gala filled with a series of spiritual activities. Main event of this celebration is Sumangali Puja, which is very dear to Sri Lalitha Devi. Suvasinyarchana Preeta (सुवाससन्यर्चन प्रीता) is one of the 1008 names of Sri Lalitha Devi, which means she is fond of puja performed by Sumangali Women. To appease Sri Lalitha Devi and to seek her grace and blessings, we will be performing Laksha Kumkuma Archana with 100 Sumangali Women (Sata Sankhyaka Sumangali Laksha Kumkuma Archana). Sponsors of this puja will initiate the puja with Sankalapam stating their Gothra Namams and Nakshatrams and then perform Laksha Kumkuma Archana. This puja is very beneficial and will enhance marital bliss, bestow peace and prosperity, eliminate Nava Graha Doshas and Nara Ghosha. Preparation of this puja will start on Feb 6, 2017 with a 40 day Deeksha (Mandala Deeksha). During this period daily Japam will be performed on the name of participating sponsors. We request interested devotees to register at the earliest possible and encourage their friends and family to do so. Signup sheet will be made available at the Temple from Jan 1, 2017. Please contact the Temple office for clarifications and additional information.
