Do.you.ever.say.to.yourself,.......“This bobbin should work; it looks like the right one!”I.often.see.problems.in.machines.caused.by.using.the.wrong.bobbin..When.I.say.the.“wrong.bobbin,”.I.am.referring.to.a.bobbin.that.looks.similar,.but.is.designed.for.another.machine..When.bobbin.cases.are.designed,.they.are.made.to.fit.with.exact.tolerance..The.top.thread.has.to.travel.all.the.way.around.the.bobbin.case.even.if.the.bobbin.seems.to.fit.it.may.be.too.high,.too.wide,.or.too.tight..This.can.cause.the.thread.to.catch.the.bobbin.and.ultimately.jam.the.machine.

I.have.also.seen.bobbins.get.damaged..They.get.dropped,.wedged.in.a.drawer,.wound.too.tight,.you.name.it..If.the.bobbin.does.not.fit.and.turn.smoothly,.don’t.use.it..In.the.case.of.front.load.bobbins,.if.the.bobbin.case.does.not.click.smoothly,.try.another.one..If.these.problems.occur,.take.all.the.thread.off.and.rewinding.just.a.little.bit.back.on..If.it.still.does.not.fit,.discard.it..Do.not.put.it.in.the.drawer,.it.will.only.give.you.trouble.another.day..Bobbins.are.a.consumable.item.and.may.not.last.forever.

A.few.things.to.remember:.Never.use.a.poorly.wound.bobbin..If.the.thread.on.your.bobbin.looks.loose,.mushy,.uneven,.or.messy,.it.could.be.that.your.thread.slipped.out.of.the.bobbin.tensioner.while.winding..Unwind.and.rewind.your.bobbin..Never.force.an.over.wound.bobbin.into.the.bobbin.case,.unwind.the.excess..Trim.off.the.tails.that.are.hanging.out.from.the.start.so.that.they.do.not.wrap.around.the.outter.edge.of.your.bobbin.

Therefore, refunds are available when a cancellation is made ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS, LESS A $5 HANDLING FEE. Cancellations made after that time will receive a CREDIT FOR STORE MERCHANDISE ONLY, LESS THE $5 HANDLING FEE. No refunds or credits will be given once a class has begun.
